The Assessment Center Method
In conjunction with the psychological testing or as a completely separate process, our Assessment Center Method can be used both for assessing external candidates and as a tool for the career development of the current personnel. Our consultants are pioneers in the Assessment Center Method in Finland. Assessment Center is an umbrella term for methods aimed at collecting information about performance in practice situations simulating working demands and tasks.The Assessment Center requires 1-2 days, and the number of participants is usually 5-8 candidates. The assessment is performed by our consultants and also line supervisors trained for the task. Individual situations and exercises are designed for the organisation and position in question. The assessment is based on the critical success factors of the job analysis defined in the recruiting process, and the exercises are selected according to the need of acquiring information of a certain capacity of the candidates.
